Hello Friends! I once said, "Good morning" to an old man and he replied, "Yes, it's always a good morning when you wake up on this side of the ground!" So, good morning to everyone on this side of the ground! lol
Have you ever driven through a tunnel? There is a long, dark tunnel in Mingo County, West Virginia that I have had the scary privelege of driving through several times for family reunions. This tunnel is about one mile long and only has room for one lane of traffic. You have to pay close attention and have clear vision to know when to enter the tunnel because you can get so far in and find out that another car is coming your way and have to back all the way out. Now this may seem strange but because of the lack of lighting in the tunnel, sometimes headlights look as if they are on the other side waiting, when they are actually coming through. There are other times when both sides of the tunnel have cars waiting thinking that the other one is coming through and they are both just sitting with neither side moving.
Why did I share this story about the tunnel? Because "our journey" is so much like the tunnel. It's sometimes passable, sometimes waiting and sometimes we even have to back up. God promises to order our footsteps. We can trust Him to advance, block and even back us up a bit if He needs to.
A Test of Trust: If God says "Go", will you go forward even if you don't feel ready? If God says, "Stop here, hold up! We've got to get something adjusted.", will you humbly say, "OK, I'm not ready to go forward..." If God says, "No, no, no!! You've got to go back and get this thing corrected." Will you patiently go back? In a world where I don't see what He sees and know what He knows, the answers are YES, YES and YES. For I am but a sheep.
Loving U like a Sister,
Regina
